Vicky Chen is a sophomore student at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Economics and Sociology with a minor in Business.

Why intern at CommCore?
I chose to intern at CommCore because it provides me with excellent exposure to various industries through client projects and guides me toward a career in communication consulting and public relations, which aligns perfectly with my passions. Moreover, I strongly resonate with the idea of “Improving your organization from the inside out.” This approach enables me to leverage business analytical tools and a data-driven mindset to help businesses achieve their goals and empower NGOs to advance their social causes.
What are you most passionate about?
I’m most passionate about creating positive social impacts on organizations and empowering others. I’m driven to be involved firsthand in creating a future centered around social service and sustainability. I aspire to thrive in an efficient and supportive team environment alongside motivated individuals.
What is your favorite social media channel?
My favorite social media channel is Instagram because it brings together a diverse range of users from all over the world. Instagram offers a variety of functions, including posting pictures and videos, sharing real-time stories, connecting to people you might know, chatting with friends, and serving as a digital marketing platform for businesses. In general, Instagram allows users to share multifaceted experiences and access various forms of information.
What do you hope to get involved with at CommCore?
Envisioning my internship, I hope to get involved with clients’ projects to gain exclusive industry insights and improve my professional skills in communication and problem-solving. Through engaging in Media Training and Presentation Training Workshops, I aim to enhance my presentation skills and deepen my understanding of Public Relations. I’m confident that I will thrive in CommCore’s intense teamwork culture as it provides me the opportunity to collaborate with driven individuals to make positive changes in organizations.
