Welcome Eric Ayala to the CommCore team. Eric is a rising senior at George Mason University and expects to graduate in Spring 2018. Learn more about him below.
Three words you would use to describe yourself…
Determined, motivated and ambitious.
What are you most passionate about…
My parents will always and forever inspire me. Growing up in El Salvador they were raised in poverty. With the opportunities I have, being able to provide them with a better life is very rewarding. Both my mother and father are very driven and hard-working individuals, so I want to give them the peace of mind that their hard work was worth the journey to the US.
Why intern for CommCore…
The opportunities I have to interact with practitioners at a strategic and crisis communications firm is very intriguing. Interning for CommCore will give me a comprehensive look into the professional workspace. CommCore has a positive reputation with its clients and I want to understand the study behind what the company’s day-to-day functions entail.
What’s your favorite social media channel…
Snapchat is my current favorite social media channel. We’re entering a new day in age where an image is worth a thousand words. As a young professional, snapping a picture for pleasure is always entertaining, but being able to innovate an image through infographics, Adobe tools, etc., is imperative to the industry I am looking to enter.
What do you hope to get involved with the most at CommCore…
This fall, I want to interact and work with all the professionals at CommCore and see how they use strategic communications in the field. Also, I want to immerse myself into the professional workspace of a PR practitioner and gain a better understanding for the industry.
