COMMCORE WINS MULTI-YEAR MEDIA TRAINING FOR GOVERNMENT CONTRACT: U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE’S DIPLOMATIC SECURITY SERVICE
Washington, DC (September 23, 2021) – CommCore, a small business specializing in communications training, has been awarded a multi-year media training for government contract with the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS).
“DSS is a critical department within the Department of State,” said Andrew Gilman, CommCore President and CEO. “The special agents have a special role when discussing issues and investigations. We are pleased to offer guidance when they need to speak to the media. We also are proud of our long-standing work with the Department of State and the Foreign Service Institute, and with media training for government.”
The training will be for Special Agents in Charge and Assistant Special Agents in Charge in DSS field offices as well as Regional Security Officers at certain high-visibility overseas posts. The instruction will be designed to enhance government agents’ abilities to interact with the media, representing the DSS mission and sharing facts about their work and investigations.
