Presented by the PRSA-NCC Professional Development Committee
April 19, 2016 – 8:00am to 10:00am
Do you know how to recognize the difference between a crisis and an issue? Do you know how to react if it is a crisis? PR professionals must learn to differentiate between complaints, rumors, and crises. Sometimes, a “crisis” is not a crisis at all. When it is a crisis, it is crucial to be proactive. Being prepared with a crisis communications plan in place is important for responding quickly and efficiently. Join us on Tuesday, April 19 to learn more.
Attendees will learn:
- How can you identify a crisis?
- What steps can you take to prevent crises from occurring?
- How do you manage a crisis?
- Can crises occur on social networks?
- How do you know what to say, when to say it, or where to say it?
- How do you craft a crisis communications plan so the infrastructure to respond is in place?
- How can you monitor reactions?
- What lessons can you learn from previous case studies?
The panel will include:
