Account Director
New York Office
Position Description:
CommCore Consulting Group is looking for a full-time, experienced Account Director. The Account Director will be based in CommCore’s New York office and should have 5+ years experience preferably in public relations or marketing or sales to PR and marketing professionals. Healthcare PR experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead new business development efforts, generate qualified leads
- Manage client relationships and their engagements with CommCore
- Conduct new business and client presentations
- Develop materials for client work such as proposals, budgets, program formats, marketing collateral etc.
- Develop marketing ideas for CommCore
- Write articles and blog entries
Qualification Skills:
CommCore is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated candidate with a strong track record in public relations or marketing communications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and able to work well independently. Experience in public relations at a PR agency or corporation is highly desired. This includes roles such as corporate communications, product communications, public relations, public affairs, marketing, medical education, financial communications and investor relations.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar field
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Familiarity with social media
· Strong internet and database research skills
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Related professional experience preferred
