- Know the key points you want your audience to remember. We can further refine them in the training.
- Have a list of questions you expect to be asked for Q&A practice.
- Write down any specific concerns you have about your media handling skills.
- Remain positive and open to learning new skills and tools to use.
- Be prepared with stories, anecdotes or relatable topics that you can utilize during your training.
- Identify who your audience will be or a list of different audiences you’ll be addressing.
- Share prior media interviews of yourself or others in your organization with the trainer if available.
- If you are required to wear uniform for your presentation or interview, bring it to the training for the on-camera practice. Example – lab coat.
